Arch 0.0MB installation with no executable

Hi all, starting a new arch build on a laptop and ran into this issue where after installation no polybar files or folders can be found, and no executable exists.
When installing with makepkg and yay i get no errors, but see this line:

Any clues on how to fix this?

Edit: below is an output log, makes no difference whether polybar or polybar-git is used. This is the only package that I am having any trouble with.

Can some help me install the wifi drivers for my USB wifi adapter when I try to install it from the ARU I get an error message

"Even a fancy chroot"...

In short, what you are asking for is an isolated AUR, right? I believe JuNest has been mentioned before around here. It's a chroot wrapper that installs an Arch chroot in your home directory. It's fancy enough that it can run without actual root. As in, fakeroot.
There're three invocation options. - junest gets you an unprivileged Arch shell. Pacman refuses to work (as expected). - junest -r gets you a real root Arch shell. WILL have access to all your system. Pacman works, and so does dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/sda. - junest -f drops into a fake root shell. Pacman will run, but you can't mess up anything outside ~, AND suid binaries won't work. Everything that's owned by your UID on the real system will appear as root-owned.
In normal use, you'd just use junest as normal user, and pacaur will handle sudoing into pacman when needed. The bad news is that I don't really know how to integrate launching junested software into the real system. AFAIK, you must run junest first, and then the program in question.
The inner shell will keep any environment variables, so there's no issue running graphical apps. They may get confused with theming, but should be transparent once you install the same theme in both systems. And, since ~ is shared, if an app is made available in your host system it will seamlessly pick up the config without migration.
It's transparent enough that I'm consistently using it to run the Arch distributions of spectacle, pass, and the ownCloud client on Ubuntu 14.04.1, with no more hiccups than no theming on the ownCloud GUI.

(Arch linux help request) Grub boot loader modification for Macbook Pro GPU switching in Bootcamp

Hi,
I'm looking to automate or more easily navigate some of the commands in this tutorial which enables the usage of the Iris graphics chipset in Windows on dual GPU Macbook Pros. A user on the Techinferno forums has successfully figured it out, but the steps are currently quite complex. I don't have any CS background, and some of this honestly goes way over my head. Would anyone be able to do me a big favour and record a screen capture of the sequence of commands below, or even automate them with a script?
I think the repercussions of conveniently enabling this feature are pretty substantial. Also, I'd be willing to donate towards this as quadrupling my battery life in Bootcamp would be really useful.
